But that doesn't mean we still can't celebrate it, right? Our very "American" plan was to go to Subway, which is right down the street and all get turkey sandwiches.
While we were at Subway, we had the idea to get a ham and cheese sandwich for the homeless guy who sort of lives across the street. Of course, when we got back, he was gone.
The sandwich was going to start to rot, so my mom ate it.
Well, since holidays aren't the only time you can buy a sandwich for someone, I guess we will just have to try again another time.
That sounds very "American"! At least you can always count on Subway to have a "Thanksgiving meal!"
