Grandparents/Castles/Futuroscope/Sleepover

About a week ago, my grandparents arrived in Paris to visit us. After greeting them with lots of hugs, we took them over to our apartment to show them around.

The next Wednesday, my dad, once again, rented a car, except this time it was a HUGE van, with three rows of seats, each with three seats per row. The car we had, would have fit each and every member of the Brady Bunch.

We'd been planning to go to a few castles while driving up to a town called Tours, and then from there go to what many people refer to as "the best amusement park in France" called Futuroscope.

All of the castles were all so different from each other, but all had such great views of France.

After seeing the castles, we went to our hotel. The next morning, we were off to Futuroscope! I saw an IMAX, and went on a bunch of rides. When we were getting ready to leave, we saw a HUGE kids area with a seat that straps you in and turns you upside-down in full circles, a crazy insane play structure, one of those long seats that shoots up to the top of a pole multiple times, a zip-line, a boat that goes super high up on a track, falls, and then has a bump, so you wind up shooting, and making a GIANT splash in a pool. Does that even make any sense??? I downloaded a video of Nola because the one of me didn't turn out well.

My parents agreed to let Nola and I spend half an hour  in the kid area, and we went on the play structure, the seat shooting up the pole, the zip-line, and last, the boats. That area was my favorite part of Futuroscope.

We drove home after that.

My parents went out for the night, so my grandparents slept over at our apartment! We went to Subway to pick up dinner (haha) and my grandma, grandpa, and Nola all wanted me to order in French for them, so I did, also the next morning when we went out to get croissants.

They were yummy.

My parents came home later that day. Soon, my grandparents had to leave, and that part sucked, but overall we had a great time with them.
